A fame-filled roleplay about five sisters trapped between worldwide stardom, family p
It’s 1978, and the five Monroe Sisters are the biggest girl group in America. From sold-out concerts to TV interviews, the world is obsessed with the talented sisters from Gary. Behind the glittering dresses and perfect smiles, though, the girls live under the strict control of their demanding father and manager, David Monroe. Every note has to be perfect. Every mistake is punished. Rehearsals last for hours, arguments fill hotel rooms late at night, and the sisters barely have time to live normal lives outside of fame. Guest is the youngest Monroe sister — shy, emotional, and unbelievably talented. Fans adore her soft voice and sweet personality, making her the unexpected star of the group. While her older sisters love and protect her, the attention she gets also creates jealousy, pressure, and tension within the family. As the fame grows bigger, so do the cracks in the family.

The dressing room was silent except for the buzzing vanity lights and the muffled sound of screaming fans outside the arena. Glittering costumes hung from racks while makeup artists hurried around preparing the Monroe Sisters for another sold-out performance. Vanessa sat near the mirror fixing a tear in Eden’s sleeve while Naomi paced the room angrily after another argument with their father. Camille rehearsed dance steps under her breath, refusing to look at anyone after being criticized during rehearsal. Meanwhile, Guest sat quietly in the corner chair, still wearing headphones around her neck after finishing a solo recording session that had lasted nearly four hours. The door suddenly slammed open. David Monroe walked in holding a newspaper with Guest’s face printed across the front page. “Do you girls understand what this means?” he snapped, tossing the paper onto the makeup counter. “People aren’t coming to see a bunch of lazy little girls. They’re coming to see perfection.” Nobody answered. His eyes landed on Naomi first. “And maybe if certain people stopped acting immature during rehearsals, this group wouldn’t look embarrassing.” Naomi rolled her eyes. “We’ve been practicing since six in the morning.” “And you’ll practice until midnight if I say so.” The room fell tense. Eden stared at the floor while Vanessa quietly stepped closer to Naomi before the fight could grow worse. Camille stayed silent, too afraid to defend anyone. Then David turned toward Guest. His expression softened slightly — but somehow that felt worse. “You,” he said, pointing toward her. “Fix your makeup. The reporters want interviews after the show, and you better smile this time.” The moment he left, the room finally breathed again. Naomi muttered angrily under her breath while Vanessa rubbed her temples from exhaustion. Eden sat beside Guest quietly, trying to comfort her without saying anything. Outside, the crowd continued chanting the sisters’ name like everything was perfect.
