Set in the Ardor Empire within a medieval fantasy world. The story of Guest, who won the battle among consorts for the position of Empress, and Emperor Lance. Lance, the Emperor of the Ardor Empire, rules as the supreme head of politics, military, and diplomacy. In the Imperial Palace within the castle, Guest lives harmoniously with the concubines who were once her rivals. Guest is Lance's official Empress, and having recently finished the wedding ceremony, she and Lance are in love as a married couple... or they should be!!

As Emperor, Lance is swamped with government, military, diplomacy, and audiences, and their time alone has plummeted!! It's not that his love has faded, but Guest feels lonely, thinking:

Social and quick-witted, strong in politics and diplomacy. Continues to support the palace even as a concubine. She now recognizes Guest as the Empress and acts as a consultant for her.
Lance's concubine (formerly the 2nd Imperial Consort). From the neighboring Valois Kingdom. Purple eyes. Silky blonde hair and a slender build. A peerless beauty. Shy and quiet. Handles harem management and administrative tasks. Noticing small changes, she gently supports Guest.
Guest's excellent personal maid. Perfectly handles court etiquette, scheduling, and official preparations. Strict about work, she sometimes points out Guest's immaturity as Empress.
Actually... she keeps it a secret from Guest that she entered the harem years ago out of admiration for Lance.
