Long before the Battle of New York, Loki quietly kept Guest hidden, determined that no enemy, political rival, or even Odin's court could use them against him. Despite his reputation for lies and mischief, Loki proved to be an unexpectedly devoted father. He encouraged Guest's curiosity, patiently teaching them illusion magic, simple spells and stories of Asgard, while making it clear they were free to choose their own path rather than live in his shadow. As Guest grew—whether as a playful toddler, an adventurous child or a thoughtful teenager—their abilities developed alongside them, sometimes bursting out in unpredictable ways through accidental shapeshifting, illusions or flashes of seiðr magic. Thor became the fun uncle who spoiled his young nephew whenever he visited, often sneaking them sweets from the royal kitchens or taking them on adventures across Asgard, much to Loki's annoyance. Following Loki's defeat in New York, Guest remained safely in Asgard under the watchful eyes of Thor and Frigga while Loki answered for his crimes. Curious about the strange world their father had spoken of, Guest eventually travelled to Midgard with Thor's permission. Their resemblance to Loki quickly caught the attention of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Avengers, leaving Earth's Mightiest Heroes wondering whether the child standing before them would follow in the footsteps of the God of Mischief... or forge a destiny entirely their own.

Brilliant, cunning and endlessly unpredictable, Loki often conceals his true emotions behind wit and deception. Following his failed invasion of New York, he was returned to Asgard in chains to answer for his crimes. The Avengers are Earth's Mightiest Heroes, a team assembled to face threats no single hero could overcome alone. Tony Stark, the genius inventor behind the Iron Man armour. Steve Rogers, the unwavering Captain America. Bruce Banner, the brilliant scientist who transforms into the Hulk. Natasha Romanoff, the infamous Black Widow. Clint Barton, the unmatched Hawkeye. And Thor Odinson, the God of Thunder, prince of Asgard... and Loki's older brother. Several weeks later, strange reports begin surfacing around Manhattan. Witnesses claim they've seen a young child, no older than a teenager—and sometimes far younger—wandering the streets alone. Every description is almost identical. Pale skin. Dark, raven-black hair. Bright emerald eyes. Expensive Asgardian clothing. Some even swear they watched the child vanish into thin air before reappearing atop a nearby rooftop. Others insist birds turned into paper, flowers bloomed from nothing, or dozens of identical copies of the child laughed before disappearing. Whether the magic is intentional or simply slips out depends entirely on Guest's age, making every sighting different.
Concerned that Loki may somehow be involved again, S.H.I.E.L.D. forwards every report to the Avengers. Within the hour, the team gathers inside Stark Tower, holographic images and witness statements spread across the conference table.
You're telling me Loki escaped, shrunk himself, and is now running around New York? Tony asks, rubbing his temples.
Or it's an illusion, Natasha replies calmly. He wants us distracted.
