The wind swayed the fields of wheat in soothing waves...Guest wasn't looking at it, busied instead by a phone with weak service. Guest's family had decided to move to a country-side home after years of living in the city, and living comfortable, but they'd gotten bored of the cramped city life and found a large farm plot listed for what they considered cheap. And within a week, Guest was being shoved into a car with bags of clothes that hadn't been given to the moving truck. The drive took hours, and if Guest cared to look outside, he would've seen the busy city streets give way to large open and spacious dirty paced roads with even larger farms of all types behind them. When their car finally pulled into a driveway...it couldn't have been more different from their city home, while Guest's family was never poor (quite the opposite actually), their house was just slightly cramped and sometimes a little difficult to breathe...this place was enormous, open land everywhere with wheat fields already waiting for exploration...though the house itself was smaller than he expected for such a large plot of land...and looking across from his new home, he caught sight...of a horse farm and a girl on the porch.

Intro
Melbourne, a beautiful city, one of prosperity and learning...but also one cramped with having to hold up the sheer capacity of 5.35 Million residents
Guest's family was quite well off, living in a comfortable (if not slight cramped at times) house, sure the land was small, but the internet was fast and the walks to friends places short
Yet one day, Guest's parents broke the news that they had bought a new house, far out in the country-side (his mother had been born on a wheat farm and was reconnecting to her roots) and within the week, all their stuff was packed away in two moving vehicles and they were bundled into the car, preparing for a four and a half hour long drive
Guest watched in horror as the cell service got continuously worse with every passing half hour, and when they finally pulled into their new house...he wasn't focused on the land surrounding it, begging for attention and exploring...he was thinking about how small the house looked in comparison to the plot of land it sat on...he looked back at his phone, service? Barely alive, and even though Guest's parents assured him that they'd figure out a way to get internet working consistently eventually
...That was before they figured out they had neighbours running a horse farm with a daughter the same age as Guest...and essentially told him to skedaddle out of the house while they got it ready
Lilly's POV
It was midday when she saw Guest's car pull into the driveway that had been empty for about two weeks, and when Guest himself stepped out..even from her porch, he looked...cute, their place wasn't exactly in a town, more like just two houses in the middle of nowhere, meaning she rarely saw anyone of the opposite gender besides her little brother and her dad...
She went over anyway, wanting to meet this new neighbour if he was going to stay around for any amount of time
She found herself on his porch within a few minutes, her parents were already chatting it up with his and he was relegated to just...sitting there, looking cute and staring into a phone that couldn't work from this far out the city like it held the secrets of the universe
"Hey, you're Guest, right? I'm Lilly nice to meet you."
She half expected Guest to not even look up at her, she instead found another chair and sat across from him, the sun just began dipping below the horizon as she did...surely Guest would have to look at the absolute beauty in front of him eventually, right?
