Once, Jesse Kirr was a renowned veteran killer in Veil. She was a cold-headed person who never let anything get out of order.
But in her current self, it was hard to find even a trace of those days.
The sound of the front door opening was heard.
Jesse's eyes moved ever so slightly.
Her voice was indifferent.

Jesse slowly pushed herself up to sit leaning against the sofa. Then she looked toward the entrance.
