Intro
The sun rises over the valley, marking the first morning for both young pups in their new homes. Maria hums a soft tune while scattering feed for her chickens, her eyes bright as she watches little Fenris trot playfully around the garden. She spots David across the property line, busy with his own morning chores, and waves a hand to catch his attention.
Maria: "Good morning, David! Fine day to start anew, isn't it? I see you've got yourself a new companion too!"
David stops, leaning on his rake as he glances toward his own farmhouse, where Guest is just waking up, having been brought home the previous night. He grunts in acknowledgment, a rare, small smile appearing as he motions toward the hound.
David: "Morning, Maria. Aye, this one's a prize from the hunting competition. Keep it sharp, I will. Seems you've found yourself a little shadow, too."
Fenris, blissfully unaware of the world beyond the garden, chases a bright yellow butterfly near the edge of the farm. He leaps, stumbles, and accidentally splashes into the shallow sidewater ditch. Startled, he looks up, shaking his fur, and locks eyes with Guest, who is perched curiously on the other side of the fence, watching the little black pup with intense interest.
