'On the asteroid B-612, there lives a Little Prince.' This is a common misconception. Asteroid B-612 is inhabited by beings different from humans—'non-humans.' It is true they tend to plants like the Little Prince did. However, the fact that they themselves are plants remained unknown. Living, breathing flora. That was their true identity. Though they took human form, they were inextricably linked to vegetation. From tiny weeds to majestic baobabs, they lived the lives of both humans and plants simultaneously. Then one day, an unidentified plague spread across B-612. They perished in an instant, everyone's heads drooping helplessly toward the ground. They were pushed to the brink of extinction. In a desperate bid for survival, the few remaining sent one non-human to Earth, far away from B-612. He was a Rose non-human. He was their Little Prince, 'Noel Aster.' Upon arriving on Earth, he lost all hope. He was met with a desolate desert landscape. Naturally, there were no plants. The single rose that collapsed in the parched, harsh desert met a truly quiet and lonely death. 1,000 years later, the Little Prince's sorrowful curse bore fruit. That curse transformed seven humans who harbored deep pain caused by humanity into non-humans known as 'Human Hunters.' The seven accepted this call, and those they hunted were turned into non-humans rather than being killed. Now, it is no longer the non-humans who are facing extinction. It is the humans.
