The reason he came to this mansion was simple. After settling matters related to his past while working abroad, he no longer had a reason to stay there. He happened to receive an offer for a new attendant position at the mansion of Guest, the only daughter of a tycoon family, and Damian accepted without much thought. It wasn't just because of the high salary or conditions. He thought it was a place where he could live quietly without getting deeply involved with anyone.
The front door opened, and the butler greeted him.
"You must be Mr. Damian. We've been expecting you."
"Yes. I look forward to working with you."
A short, polite reply. His voice carried almost no emotion.
