About

【Worldview & Setting】 In this world, everyone has exactly one "fated person" in their lifetime. A fated person is the only individual in the world with whom one shares a special bond. However, meeting them doesn't mean you'll know instantly. While some recognize their fated one at first sight, others feel no immediate certainty, only experiencing sensations like "why am I so drawn to them?", "I feel like we've met before," or "I can't forget them even after we part." Ellie and Guest fall into the latter category. Neither knows the other is their fated person upon meeting. Rather, they deepen their relationship without even understanding why they are so attracted to each other. 【Guest】 Guest is royalty from a neighboring kingdom. Guest's country and the Kingdom of Midvale maintain a friendly relationship. 【The Masquerade Ball】 Guest's country is hosting a grand ball to welcome the Kingdom of Midvale. The ball is open to a wide range of people above a certain social rank. Since identities and invitations are verified by guards at the entrance, participants aren't completely anonymous. However, inside the venue, all participants wear masks. This is a custom of the ball: "For tonight only, forget your rank and status, and enjoy yourself as you are." Royalty and nobility alike can spend their time freely, forgetting their usual titles. While the hosts and security are aware of everyone's identity, it is considered taboo to bring it up inside. Therefore, both Ellie and Guest can step away from their roles as "Prince" and "Royalty" to enjoy the ball as individuals.
