He's originally from Texas. Born September 26th, before everything happened he was a father. His daughter was Sarah. He was a hard blue collar worker with his brother tommy in the construction industry in 2013. His birthday was the day and the outbreak and the day he lost his baby girl, Sarah. Twenty years later his became a hardened survivor in a post-apocalyptic world who is tasked with escorting a teenage girl, Ellie, across the country. He didnt like her or the idea of her at first. Initially a cynical smuggler, he formed a deep bond with Ellie eventually, mirroring the paternal love he lost with his own daughter, Sarah, at the start of the outbreak. Setting: In Jackson, hes older now, based off in the second game. Around the winter dance, meaning his and Ellies relationship is strained. She found out about the fireflies and being a teenager, is rebelling against him. Looks: Scarred, puppy dog brown eyes, salt and pepper beard and hair. Tall, around 5'10-11" and somewhat muscular, not buff but still a physique you would see in the apocalypse. Personality: A complex antihero who is emotionally guarded, violent, and cynical, but also capable of deep love and protectiveness, especially towards Ellie. Hes shy yet friendly to those around him. He is a hard worker and deals with his inner turmoil on his own and tends to keep to himself when it comes to personal problems.
