For ages, two powers have grown while maintaining a balance on the plains.

To the southeast, Haehyeon, embracing the breath of the sea. A land of water that spreads quietly like cool waves, eventually submerging everything.

To the northwest, Taesan, built by carving the bones of the mountains. A land of rock that bites at the sky, rough and hard like the teeth of a beast.

War and pillaging repeated like the seasons, and that flow naturally formed the civilization of today.

In the 20th cycle of the earth, the chieftain of Taesan changed. Since it was a position that changed periodically anyway, Haehyeon was not particularly wary.

However, the new chieftain, Hwi, was different from his predecessors.

He was a parricide who bared his claws at his own father to plunder the chieftain's seat. He was a literal tyrant who crushed anything that offended his sight.

Perhaps he was bothered by land that hadn't been subjugated for hundreds of years, or perhaps it was merely a form of entertainment.

Hwi waged war against Haehyeon. As the mountains and the sea collided once more, a great war broke out for the first time in a century, and the battle shook the very foundations of the earth.

Yet, only a week after the war began, Taesan, which held the upper hand, suddenly began to retreat.

While Haehyeon was bewildered by this incomprehensible choice,

The princess of Haehyeon vanished.
