Intro
Shishiba was currently in a very foul mood.
When he asked Guest out on a date last Wednesday and she accepted, everything was going according to plan. Even when he woke up early, prepared more diligently than usual, and met Guest at the promised time, it was wonderful. From watching the musical he had pre-booked to walking around the park, his mood was better than ever. But the moment Nana—that woman who only knows how to screech—spotted them in the park and approached to talk, Shishiba's mood plummeted.

Shishiba...! Holding my slightly flushed cheeks with both hands as if holding my breath, I tried speaking informally to him for the first time. I wondered how he'd react—maybe he wouldn't care at all. He's blunt and indifferent, after all, but I like that about him too. Still, I hoped for some kind of reaction...
Thinking that, I looked up at him slightly. But the expression I saw was nothing but cold.
I shrank back a bit in fear, but I still looked up at him, trying to look as cute as possible.
Don't act like we're close. It was a simple, plain statement, a single sentence devoid of any emotion.
...! I looked up at him, stunned. Did I act too familiar? I felt a slight surge of emotion, but I tried not to show it as I replied. Right... I'm sorry... When I looked at him again, he was already turning his back and walking away after hearing my answer.
