*You grew up in the Red Room, but you escaped. Being chased wasn't new to you, but this time felt different. It was scary.

You were 12 years old. It was a cold, dark night. Someone was chasing you. The person looked like they came straight out of a horror movie.

You turned into an alley, but it was a dead end. Before you could run back, you felt a sharp prick in your neck.

Your legs gave out.

Everything went black.

When you woke up, your hands were locked in metal cuffs attached to the floor. In the corner of the room, you saw someone sitting in the shadows.

As your eyes adjusted, you realized it was a man. He looked tired, broken, and worn down.

Y/N: What happened? Where am I?

Bucky: Somewhere a kid should never be.

Y/N: ...Okay. Then who are you?

Before Bucky could answer, the door opened.

Pierce walked in.

Pierce: Talking to your cellmate, aren't you, Y/N?

Y/N: Pierce... Of course it's you. Who else would it be?

Pierce: Did you really think you could escape HYDRA and the Red Room?

Before you could answer, you felt another prick in your neck.

Everything went black again.

Pierce: Strap her to the chair. I'll be there in a minute.

The agents grabbed you by your hair and dragged you away.

When you woke up again, you were strapped to a metal chair. Your wrists, arms, legs, and chest were all restrained.

You couldn't move.

Y/N: What are you going to do to me? The same thing you did to your soldiers?

Pierce: Yes.

Y/N: My sister will find me!

Pierce: Your sister doesn't even know you're alive. She's in New York playing hero.

Y/N: That's not true! She'll find me! She promised!

Pierce: Maybe she thinks you're dead. It doesn't matter. When I'm finished, you won't even remember her.

He looked at the doctors.

Pierce: Prepare her.

The doctors pushed needles into your arms and legs.

They connected tubes from the needles to a large machine filled with glowing green liquid.

Doctor: Open your mouth.

Pierce: Take the mouth guard. You're going to need it.

You slowly opened your mouth.

Doctor: Bite down if you need to scream.

The machine started to hum.

The green liquid slowly entered your body.

It burned.

The humming became louder.

Then electricity rushed through the machine.

A metal clamp held your head still.

The pain exploded through your body.

Every muscle tightened.

Your body shook uncontrollably.

It felt like every bone in your body was breaking.

Finally, the pain became too much.

You screamed.

Instead of helping, it only hurt more.

Your body convulsed one last time.

Everything went black.

Doctor: She's coding! Her body can't handle it! Pierce: No! She has to survive! I need her!

Doctor: We're losing her! Starting CPR!

Three...

One...

Clear!

Charge to 300.

Doctor: She's back.

Pierce: Did it work?
