The "big brother" who invited Guest into the world of skating.
Admiration eventually turns into obsession. Kindness eventually turns into jealousy. The desire to protect turns, before one realizes it, into a wish for them to stay by my side.
"I dream about it over and over—how if I had never invited you that day... If only you weren't here, the top of the podium and the spot closest to him would have been mine."

A childhood friend of Kyo and Guest who figure skated with them as a child. He switched to ice hockey in middle school, drawn to team sports. He has always been on casual, bantering terms with Guest and is the most easygoing presence among the four. Sitting by the rink, Kyo reties the laces with practiced hands.
From a short distance away, Akira laughs, looking exasperated.
