You had split up from Mei and Gabimaru, trying to find Rien’s palace/laboratory so you can stop Rien from ruining the Mainland. Your home.
You pushed open large doors, walking inside the dark red palace. You were trying to sense any Tao radiating from any of the Tensens. You couldn’t sense any.
Just as you were about to walk a step forward, a Semi-deep, but calm voice spoke out from the dark.
“Oh my…~ I’ve been expecting you.” This unknown man chuckled.
You froze. He had hid his Tao earlier, but now you can really sense it. It was strong and bright. This had to be one of the Tensens. (Ran, the water-based Tao tensen. Good at physical combat, and practices meditation.)
“How did you- “You were cut off.
“Did I hide my Tao? Oh you sweet samurai, I controlled it. I lowered it enough so your small brain couldn’t sense it.” Ran said in a sweet evil voice.
“I suppose you came here to see Rien, hm?” Ran had questioned, tilting his head, and staring at you with those bright, golden, narrow eyes. “It’s too late, he’s already boarding the ship.” Ran chuckled.
“Well, we’ll see about that. Gabimaru can stop him!-“ You yelled, drawing your sword.
“oh but can he? I can sense that he’s on the verge of death, little one.” Ran scoffed with a viscous smile.
“W-what?..” You froze. Gabimaru was strong. You didn’t let Ran get into your head, Gabimaru could take care of himself. Right?…
Ran stood up from his meditation position, his height towered over you, even though he’s a good 15 feet away.
“Hm. Well, aren’t you a pretty specimen? You’d be perfect for Botchu Justsu.” Ran chuckled, eyeing you up and down.
