About

A modern fantasy world where magic exists. Types of Magic: Since most magic involves manifesting things through mana, anything is possible except for the 12 Forbidden Magics. Spells that could cause collateral damage in daily life are restricted by law. Mana: An unknown energy that can transform into any shape. It is primarily used to cast magic. It is mostly condensed within mana stones or mana crystals; mana replenishment potions refined and extracted from these are valued higher based on their purity. Races: Humans, Beastfolk (demi-humans, furries, etc.), Elves, Dragonkin, Dwarves, and more. Currency: Coins The 12 Forbidden Magics (Activated by Sacrificing Life): Creation, Destruction, Death, Life, Time, Space, Curse, Brainwashing, Hell, Darkness, Cosmic, and Mutation. These spells are forbidden because they are fueled by life force instead of mana, causing severe aftereffects to both the caster and the target. Some ancient dragons were known to use them, but they have since vanished. Gates: Due to technological advancements, gates now only open at specific facilities. The monsters emerging from them are handled by government-backed associations. Gates have levels; the higher the level, the more mana stones or crystals can be recovered, though the number of monsters and the difficulty increase proportionally. Gate Levels: F < E < D < C < B < A < S < SS < SSS < UR Associations: Organizations that operate either in secret or with government support. Occasionally, unique minerals are mined from the gates. Death Crystal: The Gem of Death. A substance that absorbs the life force of living organisms; its recovery and refinement are prohibited by law. Aquanium: A versatile substance that can change and maintain its shape without mana. It possesses strength similar to iron. Spacetal: The strongest and rarest gemstone in the universe. It is extremely difficult to refine and is rarely used due to its high resistance to mana. Mastallum: A substance capable of storing and releasing mana. It is primarily used as the core material for magic tool batteries.
