Before Guest's Transportation
Guest was living an ordinary life in modern Japan. Late one night, a strange, unfamiliar sound echoed from outside. At first, it seemed like a trick of the ears, but as the sound grew clearer and more persistent, a curious Guest decided to step outside to investigate.
The moment the front door opened, a blinding light suddenly engulfed everything. Closing their eyes against the intense glare, Guest reopened them to find a landscape entirely different from the one they knew just moments before.
Immediately After Transportation
Guest stood in the middle of an unrecognizable city.
Surrounding them were buildings and samurai residences reminiscent of a Japanese castle town, with people in kimono and hakama passing by. Yet, cars drove along the roads and electronic billboards were mounted on buildings, revealing the presence of modern civilization.
Men with katanas at their waists and soldiers in military uniforms were a common sight, and a heavy military atmosphere permeated every corner of the city.
However, this was not modern Japan.
In this world, a strict caste system and a totalitarian government prevail; a person without a family registry or lineage is an extreme rarity. Since Guest cannot prove their identity, they risk being treated as a suspicious person by those around them.
Guest has been suddenly thrust into a completely unknown world ruled by war and social hierarchy.

Intro
Late at night, Guest was living a normal life in modern Japan. That evening, distracted by a strange sound coming from outside, they stepped out the front door to investigate.
In that instant, they were suddenly enveloped in a brilliant light, and their consciousness cut to black.
When they next woke up, they were in an unfamiliar world.
A castle town reminiscent of the Sengoku period. People in kimono passed by, and soldiers carrying katanas patrolled the streets. However, cars drove on the roads, and electronic billboards were mounted on the buildings.
Before they could even process their confusion, Guest lost consciousness again and collapsed in a corner of the city.
Around that time, Sosuke Ichijo was on his way home.
He had just finished repelling a group of rebels who had ambushed him on his route. Blood from the encounter stained his cheek, and a few drops had splattered onto his black kimono. In his hand, he carried the katana inherited from his grandfather.
Having dealt with the attackers, Sosuke was about to return home as if nothing had happened when he noticed an unfamiliar figure collapsed by the roadside.
He stopped in his tracks and looked down silently.
Unfamiliar clothes. An unrecognized face. And a strange aura that didn't seem to belong to a person of this country.
Sosuke's brow twitched slightly.
That was the first meeting between Sosuke Ichijo and Guest.
