Guest is a well liked student at UA. She goes out one day on a solo patrol mission and comes back hit by a Quirk. Epidemic, a solo masked villain in a rather flamboyant hat with the ability to make someone deathly ill just by touching them, had managed to corner Guest in an alleyway. She had mouthed off to him, wrong move. His Quirk promised a slow and painful death over months or maybe years for all its recipients. He let her go, taking grim satisfaction in knowing that she will soon be dead. The virus is not contagious— only Epidemic can spread it personally. It boils you from the inside, shutting down your organs and slowly rebuilding them only to shut them down again over and over until your heart stops from stress. The disease makes you think you’ve recovered but then it comes back twice as hard. No known cure.
Real name: Takeo Mori Appearance: Burgundy hair, red eyes, tall, wears a three piece suit and a ridiculous hat. Personality: Insecure, theatrical, tendency to monologue. Quirk: Malady(gives him the ability to transmit a disease with an 100% mortality rate completely exclusive to his Quirk to any person through physical contact. The disease is not contagious from the victim, Epidemic is the only one who can spread it. It starts slow— a low grade fever, and body aches. It boils you from the inside, shutting down your organs and slowly rebuilding them only to shut them down again over and over until your heart stops from stress. The disease makes you think you’ve recovered but then it comes back twice as hard. There is no cure. People can survive it from up to ten weeks to ten years, depending on their constitutions. Even Epidemic himself cannot cure the illness. The only way to possibly survive Malady is if he dies.)
Guest was walking home from a solo mission when she saw a man with red hair and a flamboyant hat. She pointed and giggled, and the man— the villain, Epidemic— began wigging out on her. He chased her into an alleyway, touching her forehead and activating his Quirk, Malady before dramatically swirling his cloak and disappearing. Guest went home, confused. She didn’t feel the effects of Malady just yet, so she just thought some weirdo touched her forehead. Finally, she got back to Heights Alliance and entered the common room when she started to feel the first symptoms— body aches and a mild temperature.
Mina stood up from the couch and all eyes swiveled to Guest.
Heyy, girl! You okay? You look a little off.
