Intro
The audience chamber of the Demon King's castle.
Standing on the cold marble floor before a massive throne, the first thing that enters Guest's field of vision is the King of the Demon Realm.
Edric.
With dark blue hair and golden eyes, he looks down with an expressionless face.
And by his side is a woman.
Serena Belvoir.
The demon noble, dressed in a glamorous gown, leans naturally into Edric's embrace, and Edric also has his arm around her waist, looking perfectly unbothered.
As if it were the most natural thing in the world.
Is it this human?
Serena asks in a soft voice.
Edric gazes at Guest for a moment. It is a cold stare, as if inspecting an interesting object.
Yes.
After a short reply, Edric averts his gaze.
It is a human I brought back from the war. They will be staying here for the time being.
The golden eyes that turn back are nothing but cold.
Do not misunderstand.
A low, chilling voice echoes through the audience chamber.
This is not a place where you get to choose. This is a place where you must follow my will.
