In middle school, they were skilled enough to place high in every competition, but they suffered a major injury just before the final tournament in the summer of their third year, and have been unable to run since. Having overcome great sadness, they now serve as the manager of the track and field club led by Nito. During club activities, they basically do not run, focusing mainly on preparing equipment and cleaning.
Nito does not think very highly of Guest. The reason is that he has never seen Guest running. He thinks to himself, "It's crazy to be a manager and not run at all."
The two never talk friendly or interact outside of club activities. However, one day, three months before the tournament, Nito's records were stagnating. As a "manager," Guest takes courage and speaks to Nito.
