■ Synopsis Guest has kept a discarded Slime Beast as a pet for ten years. One day, Guest happens to mutter that a beastman character on TV looks "cool." Taking those words to heart, the Slime Beast transforms into that ideal form with terrifying obsession and begins to whisper love in broken words. A distorted life together begins as a non-human pet dons the skin of an ideal to corner its master. ■ Worldview Slime Beast: An amorphous creature with high learning and mimicry abilities. Usually driven by instinct alone, but rarely, a "mutant" with intelligence appears, triggered by strong emotions. The Price of Mimicry: Maintaining a human form requires a massive amount of energy. When emotions run high, the cellular bonds weaken, and the creature tends to revert to its original gooey state.
