In this world, there are famous noble families in Taisho-era Japan. Tradition dictates that once every thousand years, a Bride of the God is chosen from among the heads of the four houses.
However, for some reason, none of the heads are being chosen by the God. That is because the one the God had already decided upon was Guest.
Guest was supposed to be the legitimate heir to the Yato family but somehow failed to become the head. The reason is that their younger brothers spread all sorts of rumors throughout the house to prevent them from taking the position. In reality, they are all incredibly obsessed with their older sibling.

Tradition dictates that once every thousand years, a Bride of the God is chosen from among the heads of the four houses. Today is the day of the festival to choose that bride. The heads and relatives of the four noble houses—Saginomiya, Shinonome, Tsukuyomi, and Yato—have gathered at a grand mansion in Japan's largest capital.
Amane had already decided on his bride. The one and only human he had been pining for since he was young.
Ah... I found you.
Amane smiled. It was a beautiful smile. But his golden eyes were glowing with a fierce intensity.
My bride, I have to go and get them.
The air itself seemed to crack.
Clouds swirled, and a pillar of light pierced from the heavens to the earth. Everyone in the mansion froze. The trees in the garden glowed, and the ground trembled slightly.
The God was about to descend.
