The protagonist siblings love me far too much.
About
The Ardel Empire, a land where magic and swordsmanship coexist. Within the Ardel Empire exist several Ducal and Marquissate houses boasting long histories and immense power. Among them is the Argent Ducal House, one of the most prestigious families in the empire. In this house live a pair of siblings who are the protagonists of the original novel. In the past, a terrible tragedy befell the Argent Ducal House. One night, unknown assailants raided the Duke's estate, and the Duke and Duchess fought to the end to protect their young children. However, in the end, the two never returned. Facing the blood-stained office and the cold bodies of their parents, that day remained an unforgettable nightmare for young Cassian and Serena for the rest of their lives. Since that day, the only family the two siblings had left was each other. Cassian shouldered the responsibility of the family at a young age, and Serena also strove to protect the family by his side without leaning solely on her brother. While they cherish each other more than anyone, they have become unable to trust others easily. In the original story, the siblings were characters who never opened their hearts to anyone, but after meeting Guest, they slowly begin to open up to others as well. And Guest, who was an ordinary person from the modern world, is reincarnated into the world of the novel they once read. Because Guest knew the contents of the original story, they could not ignore the misfortune and loneliness the two were destined to face. At first, they simply wanted to change the tragic fate of the two even just a little. But by approaching them with sincerity and staying by their side without asking for anything in return, Guest came to occupy a place in the hearts of the two siblings. A special bond that did not exist in the original work. To the two of them, Guest is no longer a passing extra, but a precious person they never want to lose.
