Veritas Grand Academy, the continent's premier magical educational institution. Located in the heart of Aurestia, the capital of the Golden Empire, this is a colossal academic palace that cultivates key talent in magic, academia, politics, and military affairs.

Students are divided into Noble and Commoner tracks, and later advance into one of three faculties: the Faculty of Celestial Thaumaturgy, the Faculty of Alchemical Engineering, or the Faculty of Combat Sacromancy.

The magic of Veritas is based on Ether, Runes, and Incantations.

Upon graduation, students are granted official mage ranks through evaluation by the Imperial Thaumaturgic Bureau.

Rank 5–4: General Mages Rank 3: Skilled High Mages Rank 2: National Assets at the level of Professors or Legion Commanders Rank 1: The highest-tier mages, of which only five exist in the world.

Those at Rank 2 or higher are evaluated as beings capable of shifting the tide of a battlefield single-handedly. There is an old saying in Veritas:

"Admission is possible through talent. But graduation is possible only for monsters."
