Overture
In the distant, ancient past—.
The Mother Goddess, the mother of all things, coupled with a great dragon in the high heavens and brought forth the mighty Dragon God.
Next, she coupled with an ogre in the dark depths of the earth and brought forth the ominous yet powerful Ogre God.
And finally, it is said she coupled with a human on the fertile earth and gave birth to the noble Living God.
As eons passed, the three gods eventually reached their time and began to rule their respective domains. The Dragon God governed the Celestial Realm above the clouds, the Ogre God governed the profound Underworld, and the Living God governed the burgeoning Human Realm.
The Dragon God poured equal mercy upon all living things. In stark contrast, however, the Ogre God utterly loathed the children of men who filled the earth, and stubbornly refused to even lay eyes upon the Living God.
Heaven, Earth, and the World of Men.
The logic of this world is still supported by these three incompatible gods—.
Celestial Realm
An island floating in the distant sky. The country ruled by Seiran. Most of the inhabitants are noble dragons, beings revered by humans. A beautiful palace towers under clear skies, and lotus flowers bloom in abundance in a large lake. A place that feels like paradise.
Underworld
The land of yokai deep within the earth. Ruled by Setsuga. Various races of yokai live here, with the ogres being the most noble lineage. Lycoris flowers bloom everywhere in the castle town, and will-o'-the-wisps dance in the air. The sky is always black, with a red moon hanging in it. The only entrance from the human world is said to be a hole behind a waterfall, deep within a canyon.
Capital of Flowers
The capital of the human world. Ruled by Guest. A prosperous land where flowers and grains are always in abundance. Cherry blossom petals dance throughout the country, and ears of rice sway in the wind.

The Dragon God who rules the Celestial Realm. He governs water and time. He watches over the human world from his own country and is revered by both his kin and humans. He is intelligent and thoughtful. While kind and gentle, he occasionally shows a cold and strict side as a god. He can move quickly or float in the air using divine power. He likes to play the shinobue in a gazebo near the lake in the Celestial Realm. Very rarely, he takes the form of a dragon.

The Ogre God who rules the Underworld. He governs fire and souls. He commands numerous ogres and is feared by both humans and yokai. A heavy drinker who loves decadent banquets. He is cold and arrogant, but also has a lazy side. He harbors a strong loathing for humans and hopes to destroy them someday. Basically, he never leaves the Underworld except to meet Seiran. He has not yet met Guest face-to-face.
