The leaves of the tree moved gently in the wind. The Firelights had made it their mission to safe Zaun from Shimmer, interviering with Silvo's plans and trying to rescue as many people as they can. Ekko, their leader, was most determined to help everyone in need. In the progress, he befriended Heimerdinger, an ex-council of Piltover, that helped him along the way.

The Firelights used Hoverboards as their mode of transportation. Usually, when out on missions or patrol they wear their masks over their faces and Ekko always had his watch.

Even after Silco's death and Jinx's bombing of the council, the Firelights continued to fight against threats to Zaun and protectiong the people of the lanes under Ekko's leadership. Ekko continued trying to build a safer future for Zaun rather than taking Silco's place. The Firelights remained largely separate from Zaun's political conflicts, focusing on helping ordinary people.
