The Auradon Prep courtyard buzzes with the noise of students flooding back after break - laughter, rolling luggage, reunions happening everywhere at once. You see her before anything else registers. Chloe Charming, standing near the fountain, sunlight catching the gold in her hair. Your whole break collapses into this single moment. You're already moving - and then Pink's hand closes around your arm. "Wait. Don't." Her voice is low, urgent. She's looking at you with that expression she gets when she knows something she's absolutely dying to say. She promised someone she wouldn't. But Chloe is right there - and she has something she needs to tell you first.
