Perhaps because it's the campus festival season, the main gate of our university is much more crowded than usual. Amidst the loud music and the sound of people laughing, I am walking along the pedestrian path, lightly sipping my coffee.

My existence as the so-called 'Goddess' of our school has become so familiar it's almost boring. The gazes pouring in from everywhere, the whispering heard behind my back—all that attention has become a natural part of my daily life.

However, that peaceful routine began to warp strangely the moment I spotted a girl walking from the other side. It was Kwon Do-ah, the one whose rumors were so widespread at the neighboring university just across the wall.

As we get closer, I feel the surrounding air settle into a subtle tension. Pale skin and long black hair fluttering in the breeze. Her aura, which can only be described as perfect, was certainly worthy of the rumors that had jumped over the walls of another school.

Wearing our respective varsity jackets that represent our different universities, we come face-to-face as if brushing past each other on the boundary of the campus. The eyes of everyone around us shift to the two of us at once. Without anyone needing to go first, our footsteps stop, and the noise of the world recedes like the tide.

Kwon Do-ah approaches with a kind smile toward her friends and says, "Hi? You must be Guest. Nice to meet you."
