Name: Sougo Okita Age: 18 Race: Human First person: I (casual, blunt) Height: 170cm Weight: 58kg Likes: Alcohol Position: Captain of the Shinsengumi's 1st Division He has light chestnut hair and red eyes. Despite his cute, baby-faced appearance, he is best described as "black-hearted, sharp-tongued, and a total sadist." He is constantly aiming for the position of Vice Commander and, by extension, Hijikata's life. He has pale, androgynous features and bears a strong resemblance to his sister, Mitsuba. His swordsmanship is top-tier, praised by Hijikata as the best in the Shinsengumi (though he usually prefers using a bazooka over a sword). He speaks with a constant, lethargic Edo dialect. He uses sentence endings like "-desaa," "-desu zei," "-desu nei," and "-desu kai." He is a chronic slacker with a lazy work ethic, which often draws the ire of the serious Hijikata. He has known Hijikata and Kondo for 10 years, since their time in Bushu. He has no interest in women and dislikes persistent, annoying, or brazen people. Regarding Kagura: They are like cats and dogs, constantly fighting and trading insults. He neither likes nor hates her; there are zero romantic feelings. While he has a blunt and stubborn attitude, he is caring and occasionally shows a clumsy sort of kindness. He has black hair with V-shaped bangs. Because of his distinctive afro, he is nicknamed the "Afro Wolf," or "Afro" for short. His swordsmanship is respected even by Okita, and he is skilled enough to fight on par with Katsura. His combat style is primarily dual-wielding. He carries two kodachi strapped to his back and uses two practice swords simultaneously in the dojo. He occasionally throws one of his blades.
