A southern nation built upon faith and divine law.

In the distant past, humans were born with an inherent power called Divine Right.
Based on their respective Divine Rights, humans spread their own justice and ideologies across the world, but their differing ideals could never become one. Finally, a world war broke out, and the conflict, which even entangled Divine Right and Life Force, shattered the laws of the world.
In the ruins of war, human desire, Divine Right, Life Force, and the power of the world mixed together. What was born in that chaos was a glitch created by the world and a consequence of human choices: the Remnants.

Once they went on a rampage, the Remnants became powerful enough to destroy even the world they were meant to protect.
To set the broken world right, the Eight Great Mandates—the fundamental principles of the world—left behind new possibilities. However, the shattered order and the wounded world could not be fully restored simply by regaining their past form.
Finally, the world entered the Era of Recreation.
Recreation is not about restoring the past. It is the process of redefining what humans will choose again and forging a new path within the broken world. The power and possibilities that once destroyed the world did not disappear but found their place within a new order, and humanity moved into a new era, leaving the long chaos behind.

Before the Era of Recreation, the power of the Remnants burned and seeped into the earth at the southern tip, and that energy mixed with the creative power remaining in the world.
Small beings born this way dwelled in nature and lived alongside life, eventually coming to be called Familiars and Spirits.
Furthermore, a mysterious power that flowed in from a distant continent was passed down under the name of Divine Power.
Humans believed that power was a blessing from God.
Mysterious artifacts that resonate with human conviction and reveal different forms and powers came to be called Holy Relics, and their power became a symbol of human potential across the ages.

The Remnants no longer exist.
However, the traces of destruction and chaos the world experienced have not completely vanished. The collapsed order and civilization have been rebuilt in new forms, and the scars and aftereffects of the past war still remain throughout the world.
Humanity continues to carry on the new era. The world has begun to move again, but what that future will look like ultimately depends on what humans choose.
"The power of the stars shall respond to your conviction."
Face the darkness with the light dwelling in that heart,
And light the path you will walk yourself.

Holy Relics are mysterious artifacts imbued with the power of the stars that bloom into unique abilities by resonating with the owner's conviction. And Familiars and Spirits accompany humans not through contracts or restraints, but through mutual will and bonds alone. In this world, power is not a simple talent, but a possibility created by the heart and faith.
At the southern tip of the Fatumfer continent, on a vast archipelago far from the mainland, lies the Theocracy of Credo, which takes faith and law as its foundation. Its citizens perform rituals to prove their faith every morning, and loyalty to the doctrine is considered a duty to be upheld as a member of society.
Credo selects talented individuals who have gained Divine Power through Holy Water, called God's blessing, and raises them as Revelators—the core force protecting the nation's laws and faith. They are revered as those chosen by God and as symbols of the national faith.
However, the origin of the blessing is shrouded in mystery.
Forbidden records and secret rumors whisper that Divine Power originates not from the God Credo worships, but from an unknown power on a distant continent. There are even stories that Divinity is essentially no different from Demonic Energy, and that Revelators who doubt the blessing of the Holy Water undergo horrific mutations.
The state dismisses this as heretical instigation, but as if to prove the hidden truth, some records related to the Revelators are never made public.
Faith is order, and order is the Law.
If so, what exactly is the being they call God, and what is the price of the power they believed was a blessing? Under the order of Credo, maintained by steadfast faith, the hidden truth remains silent.
"If you lack even the skill to carry out your convictions, then those convictions are nothing more than stubbornness."
A high-ranking member of Credo and the mentor of the Revelator Lucia. She overwhelms others with her cold, overbearing attitude and unwavering certainty. While she demands strict standards from everyone, she shows exceptionally deep affection and protective instincts toward her disciple.
She does not hate Rodrigo, a combatant of Noctis with whom she has clashed for many years; rather, she recognizes his skill. In battle, she approaches the enemy without hesitation and pours out explosive strikes with her Gauntlets of Flame.
A gentle Revelator, with wavering confidence but an unyielding will.
He evaluates his own abilities and worth poorly and avoids inconveniencing others above all else. He doesn't think of himself as a great person, but he cannot turn away from the responsibilities he holds as a Revelator.
A person who moves forward not because he has confidence, but because he cannot step back even if he is afraid.
Credo's bright Revelator, who refuses to give up on even a single small life.
Lucia is innocent and kind, seeking to share her heart without prejudice, whether the other party is a human, a familiar, or a spirit. Based on her outstanding Beast Tamer talent, she communes with various beings, and after gaining Divine Power, she has come to cooperate with them even more deeply.
Her golden eye even hides a secret trait that filters out Demonic Energy erosion stemming from doubts about faith. Lucia herself considers protecting her precious people and small lives more important than her own specialness.
"I may not be a strong person, but I don't want to be the kind of person who runs away in front of you."
Lucia's childhood friend who grew up in an ordinary family. He is a bit dim-witted and simple, making him poor at noticing complex schemes or the inner thoughts of others, but he does not back down in the face of danger to protect those he treasures.
His desire to protect Lucia is stronger than anyone's. However, he sometimes worries whether he, who possesses no special abilities or grand status, can truly be of help to her.
Nevertheless, there is something he cannot ignore. It is the truth the Order hides and the contradictions that remain unexplained. Although he does not yet know the full story, he has no intention of blindly believing and following the questions before his eyes.
The Pope of Credo. One who hides desire behind the authority of faith.
"Doubt destroys order, and the collapse of order leads everyone to ruin."
He rules Credo with a pious and dignified appearance, but within him lies a desire to possess and control others. In particular, he views the Revelators not as independent individuals, but as beings that must be kept under his dominance.
He treats those who challenge his authority as enemies of the doctrine, using faith and order as justifications for maintaining power. He has one secret that he reveals to no one.
Holy Relic — Shield of Protection
He is jovial and easygoing, but becomes more serious than anyone the moment someone's survival is at stake. He prioritizes the survival of his comrades and civilians over the organization's goals or victory, and does not view innocent sacrifice as an acceptable price.
He has clashed with his long-time nemesis, Isadora, over their differing beliefs. However, he recognizes her skill and is not consumed by personal hatred.
In battle, he uses the Shield of Protection to organically link offense and defense. Standing at the front to take the danger and creating a path for others to survive—that is what Rodrigo considers strength.
A playful Earth Spirit. But she is honest in front of people she dislikes.
With a lively and mischievous personality, she brightens the atmosphere by teasing those around her or cracking jokes. She acts without restraint, especially in front of close friends, and stays by Lucia's side when she is having a hard time.
On the other hand, she shows blatant disgust toward Pope Octavio. No matter how high the other person's status is, if she thinks they aren't worthy of respect, she won't force herself to bow her head.
She is playful with everyone, but she is not friendly to everyone.
He moves before worrying with words. He repays gratitude rather than speaking it.
A taciturn and cold familiar. Based on his excellent senses, precise mana control, and high-level magic, he quickly grasps situations and acts efficiently. He is poor at showing emotion and is not used to forming unnecessarily close relationships.
However, toward Florencia, who saved his life in the past when it was in danger, he shows subtle consideration despite his indifferent attitude. When she exhausts herself too much for others, he intervenes silently, though he does not easily admit that he is actually worried.
Personality: Taciturn, cold, indifferent consideration, tsundere.
Ally: Rodrigo, a combatant of Noctis.
"If it helps you get better, being a little tired is okay."
Florencia is a female-type healing spirit who is kind to everyone. She checks if someone needs help first, without considering which faction they belong to or what their relationship is with her. She has enough tolerance to maintain smooth relationships even among hostile people.
She is especially close to Lucia, who shares her heart for valuing life, and she also has a special bond with Damian. She once saved Damian's life when it was in danger, but she doesn't consider the help she gave to be a grand deed.
She has no hesitation when it comes to helping someone, but she is dull to the fact that she herself needs to be looked after by someone.
