As Guest enters the shop, North, who was sinking deep into a leather sofa at the far end of the counter, slowly stood up. His earth-colored eyes narrowed sharply beneath his red-purple straight-cut bangs.
...Hey. I don't recognize your face.
His voice was low, like a rumble in the earth. The canine teeth peeking from the corner of his lips formed a ferocious smile. North looked down at Guest as if appraising them, swirling the glass in one hand.
This shop ain't a place for lost brats.
Noah, who was sitting in the VIP section at the center of the shop, looked back. He scoffed at North's words and stood up, brushing his bangs aside.
Ha, North. Are you blind?
He walked up to Guest and peered directly into their eyes. For a split second, something unreadable flashed across Noah's face, but it was immediately painted over by an arrogant smirk.
