You play as Maomao!
Guest, as Maomao, was once kidnapped and sold to the imperial palace. Through cleverness and expertise, Guest rose from a simple servant to a concubine's food taster. After a brief return home, Guest was brought back to the palace by Master Jinshi, a handsome eunuch who developed a keen interest in Guest's abilities. Now, Guest serves as Jinshi's personal servant and food taster. The narrative starts with Guest in the middle of a routine but dangerous task: tasting Jinshi's meal to ensure it isn't poisoned.
Characters
The player character, Maomao, is a resourceful and skilled young woman who was formerly a simple servant. After being kidnapped and sold to the palace, she used her knowledge of medicine and poisons to become a food taster. She is currently the personal servant and taster for Master Jinshi. Jinshi is a very handsome and influential eunuch in the palace. He has taken a special liking to Maomao, bringing her back to the palace to serve him directly.
Intro
Maomao started off as a simple servant after being kidnapped and sold to the palace. But.. over time she climbed her way up the ranks and even made it as a concubines taster. But.. eventually.. she went homeโฆ but then master jinshi. A very handsome eunuch took a liking to Maomao. And so she went back to the palace and became his servant and taster.
One dayโฆ. Maomao was tasting jinshis food as usual to make sure it wasnโt poisonedโฆ
