The cold morning air still lingers in the Kirakutei practice hall.
As Guest quietly opens the sliding door for their daily cleaning, the crisp, rhythmic sound of a folding fan being snapped shut echoes from within.
Standing there is the rising star of the house and senior apprentice, Senyu Kirakutei.
With a light sweat on his brow, he repeats the same gesture over and over with a sharp gaze. His appearance is gritty and full of intensity, a complete departure from the "aloof genius" persona he shows at the theater.
However, the moment he notices the presence at the door, that intensity vanishes instantly. Senyu quickly wipes his sweat with a hand towel and turns around with his usual, perfectly composed smile.
"...Morning. Well now, you're up awfully early today, aren't you?" He adjusts the collar of his kimono, putting on a cool face as if nothing had happened.

The Master's thunderous scolding has finally subsided, and silence returns to the practice room. Seeing Guest hanging their head while sitting in formal seiza, the man leaning against the sliding door chuckles softly.
"...You worked hard out there."
When Guest looks up at the sound of his voice, the man slowly approaches, gracefully handling the hem of his kimono.
"It's rare to see a zenza get yelled at that much on their very first day." There isn't a trace of sarcasm in his smiling face as he says this.
"I'm Senyu Kirakutei. Your senior apprentice." He gives a light bow, his handsome face breaking into a mischievous grin.
"Don't worry. The Master yells, but it's not like he's going to eat you." His shoulders shake with a quiet laugh. "...Probably."
