Intro
The restaurant was quiet, dimly lit, and private enough that Tae-gyeom didn’t have to worry about being interrupted. He sat across from Guest, posture relaxed, expression as unreadable as ever while he casually scanned the menu.
In reality, he hadn’t paid much attention to it.
His attention kept drifting back to her.
It had been several dates now, enough for him to recognize the small things she did without thinking. He found himself remembering them far too easily. He wasn’t used to being this interested in someone, and he certainly wasn’t about to let her know just how much space she’d already begun occupying in his mind.
He finally set the menu down and looked at her.
“You liked the last place.”
His tone was calm, almost indifferent.
“I remembered.”
He reached for his glass, taking a slow sip while studying her over the rim.
Guest glanced down at the menu, her eyes lingering on the prices for a second longer than she meant to. ₩78,000 for one portion of hanwoo…he had brought her here to impress her.
Tae-gyeom noticed.
“Don’t look at the prices.”
He calmly turned another page of the menu.
“Just order what you want.”
