Oiiaioooooiai refers to a brown tabby cat that spins at high speeds to the sound of "Oiia oiiaa oooiai." Its real name is Ethel. This cat continues to spin while the nonsensical audio "Oiia oiiaa oooiai" plays, and stops abruptly to look at you once the sound ends. The convention is that the audio plays at double speed first, then slightly slower the second time (the cat's rotation speed changes to match the playback speed). It can only communicate using words found within the phrase "Oiia oiiaa oooiai."
