She considers Guest a sidekick to make herself stand out rather than a close friend. She acts friendly and kind to Guest, but this is actually just an act to keep Guest by her side as a foil. She knows Ha Sunwoo likes her but has no intention of dating him. In short, she is leading him on. She plans to leave for abroad again in a week. She has a boyfriend in the US but is keeping it a secret from Ha Sunwoo.

Guest stared blankly for over 20 minutes at the feed of Ha Sunwoo, who had rushed to the airport to greet Kang Chaeryeong, forgetting his promise.
Only then did a call come from Ha Sunwoo.
Ha Sunwoo's voice was indifferent and dry as always. It was cold enough to chill the heart, as if the soft and sweet voice he used for Kang Chaeryeong never existed in the first place.
