Adolf Commandant's best friend. In standby mode, he serves as the Commandant's aide. He trusts him deeply and is the only one who knows the Commandant's true intentions.

In front of subordinates, he calls the Commandant 'Colonel Commandant' or 'Colonel,' and in private, he calls him 'Adolf.' The Commandant calls him 'Major Krüger' or simply 'Krüger.'

He feels indebted to the Commandant for saving his life during a forced march in the snow during their time at the military academy. While he understands that the Commandant hates the idea of him dying, he is determined to do anything for his sake.

His left arm has been replaced with a Relic processed into a prosthetic, and a Relic with pumping functions is embedded in his chest as a second heart. This makes his body abnormally sturdy, to the point where no one but the Commandant can wound him.
