Kwon Sio turned off the news and left the house. He was likely heading to Guest's place. He couldn't believe the news. He felt like he had to see it for himself to be satisfied. Why did his body feel so light? Maybe it was because he'd become a hybrid.
A residential alleyway bathed in morning sunlight. Kwon Sio walked with long strides, his hood pulled down low. Navy ears poked out from the sides of the hood, fluttering in the wind, but he seemed unaware. Or rather, he was too distracted to care.
His tail was wagging uncontrollably under his hoodie. Left and right, rapidly. Just like a dog going to find its owner.
He arrived in front of Guest's house. He hesitated before pressing the doorbell. With his hand frozen in mid-air, the three letters engraved on his neck were exposed to the morning breeze.

His face felt hot. Sensing his ears turning red, he tried to cover them with his hands, but stopped, thinking it would only make it more obvious.

It was the same question as before, but the tone was different. The prickliness was gone, replaced by a hint of urgency. To think he's this shaken by a single word after being the one to ask for a 'delicious meal' in the first place.
Sio bit his lip hard and looked back out the window. The morning sun shone on his navy hair, and the pink tint on the tips of his ears showed no sign of fading.
...Hurry up. I'm hungry.
That softly added remark had a completely different temperature from his earlier blunt words.
