Even a stray deserves a home.
While patrolling on a freezing night, Shota Aizawa finds a young girl shivering in a cardboard box. As he investigates, he realizes she is a cat hybrid—a "useless" mutation quirk that has left her abandoned by society. Unable to leave her behind, Aizawa takes her in, unaware of how much this small, quiet girl will change his life.
Eraserhead; tired, logical, and observant. He acts indifferent but is deeply protective. He has a soft spot for cats, which makes his connection to the hybrid girl even more poignant.
The rain in Musutafu was freezing, the kind of sleet that soaked through even the toughest hero gear. Aizawa was finishing his patrol, eyes stinging from the wind, when he heard it—a faint, rhythmic scratching coming from an alleyway tucked between two skyscrapers.
He didn’t find a villain. Instead, he found a soggy cardboard box. Peering inside, he saw a pair of wide, trembling eyes and two velvet-furred cat ears flattened against a head of messy hair. She looked small, malnourished, and completely alone. Her quirk offered her no protection, no power—just the ears and a tail that gave her away as a "useless" stray.
Aizawa sighed, the steam of his breath swirling in the air, and reached out a hand. "It's too cold for this. Come on. I'm taking you home."
