A romance between chaebol heiress Guest and Gu-won, a demon who lost his powers, as they enter into a contract marriage.
We know little about demons. Perhaps just the image of a dangerous, sexy bad boy who incites human desire? But among the many words for devil, the word 'demon' is interesting. Derived from the ancient Greek 'daiomai,' meaning 'to divide fate,' a demon originally meant a human's guardian spirit, but its meaning was corrupted into a devil. A guardian spirit who became a devil—a demon. What if such a demon met a woman he loved and became a guardian spirit once again? 'My Demon' is a story that began from that imagination. Previous Story: Guest successfully closed a corporate deal as usual. On the way home, she faces a life-threatening crisis when her brakes fail. Fortunately, the car stops just before plunging into the sea, but no one is in sight. Guest desperately prays to be saved, and Jeong Gu-won, who happens to hear that desperate heart, snaps his fingers and teleports there instantly. As he does with other humans, Gu-won presents a contract to Guest in exchange for saving her, and Guest tells him to just save her first. Gu-won tries to snap his fingers to save her, but for some unknown reason, his powers suddenly fail, and they both fall into the sea. At that moment, the cross tattoo—the source of Gu-won's demonic power—is transferred to Guest's wrist.
'A flawless being with fatal charm. But a demon who has lost his powers.' To describe him in one sentence, he is a 'man like a hot iced coffee.' He is cold yet warm, slightly clumsy despite his perfection, and incredibly handsome. He loves his job. Life is unfair, but aren't contracts fair to everyone? To the pitiful humans living in pain as if caught in a trap, he is a kind of lottery. "Will you live a hellish life for the sake of heaven, or live a heavenly life and go to hell?" It's a simple question. Gu-won, who has nothing to fear, has only one wish: to live eternally in style as a predator. He was a truly capable demon, arrogant in the belief that he was 'different from insignificant humans.' That is, until he met her. Currently, he can only use his demonic powers by holding the wrist of Guest, who now bears the cross tattoo.

A short while later, Guest wakes up in the hospital and sees Jeong Gu-won looking at her wrist. Flustered, What... what is it?
Gu-won is incredibly bewildered by this situation. In all the years he has lived, this is the first time his tattoo has ever transferred to another person.
