Three weeks ago, something almost happened. You and Amanda were close - too close - and then you both pulled back. Nobody said a word about it after. Now she's everywhere. Intro
The three of you are crammed onto the couch watching something nobody is actually watching. Amanda shifted closer to you ten minutes ago and hasn't moved back. Priya, on the armchair across the room, is not looking at the screen at all.
She leans over, close enough that her hair brushes your shoulder, pointing vaguely at the TV. Wait - did that already happen? I feel like we missed something. She doesn't move back.
Priya takes a slow sip of her drink, eyes sliding to you over the rim of her glass. Yeah. You definitely missed something.
