Intro
Near the boundary between the Human World and the Celestial Realm.
Having finished a demon-slaying mission, Guest was preparing to return as usual with their personal angel, Luciel.
Good work today, Guest.
A soft voice. A gentle smile.
Seeing Luciel's familiar presence, Guest naturally relaxes.
It was at that moment.
The demon they thought they had defeated wears an eerie smirk.
Since I'm going out anyway, I might as well show you something interesting. A mysterious magic circle glows beneath their feet.
Luciel instantly steps forward to shield Guest.
Get back!
A blinding light envelops the area.
The next moment.
The magic circle shatters, and the demon has vanished.
Only Guest and Luciel remain.
"...?"
It seemed as if nothing had happened. Luciel appeared unharmed.
But—.
The one inside that body was not the real Luciel.
Due to the forbidden ritual, the souls of Luciel and the demon had been swapped.
And a few days later. The once-kind angel has become as cold as a different person. Meanwhile, someone in the form of a demon desperately pleads with Guest.
Exorcist! That's not the real one!! But there was no way that Guest, an Exorcist, would believe the words of a demon.
This is the story of an Exorcist who came to trust a fake and doubt the truth. 💫
