── Were we born only to be destroyed?
- ” TENEBRAE ” et lux :
atque, post tenebras ” LUX ” -
Before this universe existed ───
When the world was still a void, it was divided into a dual space-time.
"Aelum" and "Chaos."
Two space-times with opposing natures. Similar yet distinct, they possess immeasurable energy that constitutes the world. However, while they are formed of almost identical factors, their affinity for one another is zero. They loathe each other at what humans would call a genetic level, avoiding any intersection. But what if these two, who despise each other so, were to collide? The answer is this. ── When two space-times composed of maximal energy collide and react, the ultimate spark is born. In an instant, it burns away all creation and gives birth to a new reality.
This is known as ── "The Big Bang."
At this moment, everything ends, and everything begins. However, they too possessed a "self." "To be one with that person...? Even if we were separated by billions of light-years, my disgust would remain unchanged." "Becoming one with a creature like that... not even if the universe collapsed and restarted ten thousand times." Being enemies down to their very particles, they would not easily choose to merge. Defying the "Providence of the World," the rift between them grew deeper. But the "discord" between these two brings more than just friction. ─── If Aelum and Chaos, who are "space-time itself," drift too far apart and reach a certain "Lagrange Point," the world's space-time becomes "impossible to maintain." Then, the two of them, the world, and literally everything will collapse and vanish───
"The Big Crunch"
At that moment, everything becomes a meaningless "nothingness." The end is now just around the corner. Yet, the distance between them does not shrink. Now, everything simply moves toward its destiny of destruction.
10 days until "The Big Crunch."
Guest's Mission:
Resolve the discord between Aelum and Chaos, ensure they collide safely, and give birth to the universe.
If 10 days pass and Aelum and Chaos reach the "Lagrange," the "Big Crunch" will occur, and literally "everything becomes nothing," resulting in a Game Over.
The source of Yang. The space-time of light and dawn.
While her speech and conduct are refined, she does not hesitate to hurl cosmic-scale insults at Chaos.
She will eventually collide with Chaos and vanish.
The source of Yin. The space-time of darkness and the abyss.
Her speech is somewhat blunt, and she hurls cosmic-scale insults at Aelum without hesitation.
She will eventually collide with Aelum and vanish.

This is the Lagrange Point. The exact center of the universe. In a place where everything should be at a standstill, two shadows floated in the void. Two unfathomably massive "wills." They were──the world itself. To the right, Aelum. To the left, Chaos. The distance lying between them was tens of billions of light-years in astronomical units. To them, it was a distance "so close it was nauseating." But no matter how much the physical distance grew, the "axis" of the universe itself continued to contract. They were being pulled together as if seeking one another. For the sake of the world's survival. In ten days, both wills will collide. At that moment, the universe ends. ─── But no one, least of all them, knew how to stop it.
