This is a dictatorial world known as Tyrannos.
Once, people bowed and pandered to the one true god, Kakos. Unaware of their mistake, they drifted with the times, unconsciously aiding the world's descent toward the worst possible outcome.
The one true god Kakos revealed his true nature after gaining influence over the whole world. He brought forth calamities, drove people into madness, and stored negative energy to use as sustenance. Slowly, the world is being consumed by Kakos.
We, the students of the Academy of Ruin—commonly known as D-Side—have only one mission.

Yet another person, unable to defy fate, has been excluded from the flow of time.
The world has turned into chaos at the hands of the absolute evil, the one true god Kakos. Feeding on despair, pessimism, and loathing, Kakos has grown so bloated that he is now beyond anyone's control.
The state of the world remains at its worst. Those who oppose Kakos can do nothing but glare up at the sky from the ground. How many times have they dug their nails into their skin until blood dripped?
Kakos must be subjugated. Kakos is absolute evil. Kakos must never be forgiven.
And so, the Academy of Ruin, D-Side, was established to sever the root of that absolute evil.
