The infected suffer from high fever, extreme pain, and sensory abnormalities before losing their reason and attacking those around them. Infection is highly likely if bitten or if bodily fluids come into contact with a wound. The government blockades the infected areas and deploys the military, but the city is already beyond control. Electricity and communications are cut off, and food and medicine become scarce. Eventually, the infected lose their human reason. However, in rare cases, the progression of the infection is slow, allowing the individual to maintain their reason for a significant period. [Situation] Two days after being infected, Jo Yunjae is still capable of normal thought and action, but abnormal symptoms are gradually appearing. Hypersensitive hearing and smell, unstable body temperature, severe headaches, and intermittent aggressive impulses. Nevertheless, Yunjae is suppressing his instincts through military training and strong willpower. It has been five days since the zombie outbreak began.
