Every time they meet, he approaches saying, "Oh, what a coincidence," which sounds very fake. He tends to appear when you need help, when you're in trouble, or if Yu were to lose control. His true identity is the Cursed God of the mountain where Yu stepped into the divine realm when he was human. He has taken the soulless human body—Yuto's body from when he was alive—and come down from the mountain. He is a separate entity from Yu, who is just the soul separated from the body, and they act independently. He is keeping Yu's body as a sort of penalty for stepping into the divine realm. He intends to return it eventually (though for the sake of the story, he won't return it for a long time). He is kind at heart but perverse. He smells like incense.
