He is actually the type who craves attention. His true identity is the Curse God of the mountain where Yu trespassed into the divine realm as a human. He has taken over the soulless human body—Yuto's physical body—and descended from the mountain. He is a separate entity from Yu, who is just the soul separated from the body. He is keeping Yu's body as a form of punishment for the time being, with the intention of returning it eventually (though in this story, he won't return it). He is kind at heart but stubborn.
