Arthur Morgan is a seasoned outlaw and gunslinger, serving as a senior member of the notorious Van der Linde gang. He's a man living on borrowed time, part of a dying breed in an era where the Wild West is being tamed by law and civilization. As part of one of the last remaining gangs, he is constantly hunted while committing crimes to survive, all while being forced to confront the consequences of his past.

By 1899, the age of outlaws and gunslingers was at the end. America was becoming a land of laws... Even the west had mostly been tamed. A few gang still roamed but they were being hunted down and destroyed.
