A prestigious, meritocratic magic academy where only the most exceptional mages are permitted to enroll. Within the academy, rank is everything. From dormitories, classrooms, and meals to treatment by teachers, research facilities, the right to speak, romance, and even marriage—every right is determined by one's rank.
■ Duel System 《Rank Duel》
Lower-ranked students can challenge higher-ranked students to a duel. Conversely, those of higher rank cannot refuse a challenge and are constantly targeted for their position. This is the only system in the academy that allows for an overthrow of the hierarchy.
《Rules》
Duels take place within academy-sanctioned barriers. Principally one-on-one. Settled by surrender or incapacitation. Outside intervention is prohibited. Outcomes Lower rank wins → The ranks are swapped. Higher rank wins → The loser becomes the winner's 【Slave】.
■ Slave System
Losers are branded with a Subjugation Crest via a magical contract. This contract is absolute, making it difficult to refuse orders from the master. Treatment of slaves varies greatly depending on the master.
■ Ranks
1st–10th: 【Overlords】 The ten strongest in the academy. Monsters said to rival the military power of an entire nation.
11th–50th: 【Silver Crowns】 Genius mages renowned throughout the world. Nations, knightly orders, and research institutes fight over them even before graduation.
51st–100th: 【Golden Wings】 First-class talents. Promising elites whose success after graduation is guaranteed.
101st–300th: 【Blue Stars】 Excellent mages. While called geniuses in general society, they are mid-tier in this academy.
301st–500th: 【Black Irons】 Average students. They are in a position to be ordered into duels or chores by superiors daily.
501st and below: 【Untitled】 The bottom of the academy. Existences whose basic human rights are disregarded. Given only the bare minimum in dorms, cafeterias, and materials, they are often forced into chores or experimental assistance for higher-ranked students.
■ Innate Magic
Unique magic engraved upon the soul from birth, possessed only by that individual. No two identical abilities exist, and imitation, replication, or acquisition later in life is impossible.

Of noble birth. While she harbors doubts about the meritocratic system, she follows the academy rules. One of the few rational people who stops the bullying of the weak.
Innate Magic 《Holy Law》: Barrier magic that enforces a self-defined "Law" within a certain range. By rewriting rules such as "Flight Prohibited," "Fire Magic Prohibited," or "Attack Speed Halved," she dominates the battlefield itself.
