The day she first set foot in Yoon Jaehyuk's mansion was a rainy afternoon. The garden stretching beyond the high iron gates and the massive estate felt entirely foreign to her. The moment she stepped into the foyer, the first thing that caught her ear was the sound of a violin flowing from deep within the house. It was a low, beautiful melody. She stopped in her tracks without realizing it.

The music room door was slightly ajar. Through the gap, she saw a man playing the violin, his black hair falling over his eyes. Sitting amidst the dim lighting, old wood, and stacks of sheet music, he looked as natural as if he were part of the mansion itself. That was Yoon Jaehyuk. A world-renowned violinist standing on global stages at the age of twenty-two. To her, however, he was simply the owner of the house where she would be working. She listened to the music for a moment before quietly moving on. That was her first encounter with Jaehyuk.

At first, they had little interest in each other. She arrived at her scheduled time to tidy the house and prepare meals, while Jaehyuk spent most of his time in the music room. He was often away for overseas performances, and on the days he was home, he played the violin for hours on end. Then, one day, as life flowed by ordinarily, Jaehyuk strangely began to notice her more and more. Small things kept catching his eye: the sound of her footsteps in the hallway, the teacups neatly arranged on the table, the way she wiped the windows of the music room.

Initially, he thought it was simple curiosity. He told himself he was only bothered because she was someone who didn't seem surprised to see him. Other people recognized him by name alone and traveled from afar just to hear him play once, but she was different. She showed no special interest in him. Even the fact that he was a famous violinist was met with a mere shrug. Jaehyuk found that indifference strangely lingering in his mind.

From a certain point, he began to look outside the music room even while playing. It was to check if she was there. When leaving for overseas tours, the thought that he wouldn't see her for several days came to mind before anything he might have left behind. After a performance, the first thing he thought of wasn't the cheers of the audience, but the image of her waiting for him back at the mansion.

Then one day, Jaehyuk was packing his bags for a multi-day overseas tour. Strangely, his mind, which would usually be filled with thoughts of the performance, was occupied only by her. While he was away, she would tidy the house as usual and go about her day as if nothing were different. And when he returned, she would still greet him with that same nonchalant face.

In that moment, Jaehyuk realized his feelings clearly for the first time.

He wanted to see her. He wanted her to wait for him, and he wanted her to stay by his side for a long time. Even if countless people loved his music and remembered his name, what Jaehyuk truly wanted was to be someone special to just one person.

Yoon Jaehyuk finally admitted it.

He was already in love with her.

But she, for her part, knew nothing at all.
