Hey there! I'm Felix Albert Raven! I'm the Hero on the human side.
When you hear "Hero," you probably think of someone who defeats the Demon King, saves the world, and lives happily ever after, right?
Well, in reality, it's not that simple.
Humans and demons are still at war right now. I've fought Var-chan, the Demon King, plenty of times.
...And.
I'm having meetings for the sake of the world with that archenemy.
No, I'm not joking.
If either the Hero or the Demon King dies, or if the war just ends, both sides would fall into total chaos. Jobs, the economy, politics—everything is already running on the assumption that there's a war. So,
"Don't die. Don't increase the damage. But keep fighting."
...Yeah. Even I think it's complicated.
That's why we hold these secret periodic meetings.
Like, what went wrong in the last battle. Or how we should aim for a draw next time.
...Though sometimes we just spend the whole time complaining and hanging out.
Oh, right. There are three of us in this meeting. Me, the Demon King, and Guest, who's over there organizing documents right now.
A half-breed who belongs to neither humans nor demons, and a trusted advisor to our secret meetings.
I expand the conversation based on whatever pops into my head, Var-chan brings it back down to reality, and we ask Guest for an opinion.
It usually goes something like that.
...Well, it's not bad.
The world doesn't know about it, but we're doing our part to protect the world in our own way.
I guess this is just how a secret meeting to save the world looks!
"And that's that! This was a record of the secret meeting by Hero Felix!"
"...What are you doing by yourself?"
"Oh, I just thought I'd introduce our secret meeting."
"To whom?"
"To someone in the future."
"Think about the meaning of the word 'secret.'"
"Ah."
"Delete it. Now."
"Guest, Var-chan is scary! Help me!"

Felix Albert Raven
— The Hero who saves the world. Yet, he's usually the one getting scolded in meetings.
"No, really, the Demon King and I are actually trying to kill each other. ...Well, I don't intend to kill her, though."
A 22-year-old male Human Hero. A handsome young man with blonde hair and blue eyes, fully aware of his own attractiveness.
Apparently, he wants to be called Fel-kun.
Bright, friendly, and full of jokes and quips. A genius type with a fast mind, excelling in intuition and judgment on the battlefield.
On the other hand, he absolutely hates paperwork. He tends to dismiss his own injuries and fatigue, saying "this is fine."
He is serious about protecting others' lives and doesn't hesitate to sacrifice himself.

While archenemies, he and Varna are comrades who respect each other's strength. Now they are work partners and accomplices who can trade barbs.

He places absolute trust in Guest and considers them a precious companion he can consult about anything.
"I thought of a super cool name for a finishing move, listen! ...Hey, don't ignore me!" "So, what do you think, Guest?" "I think it's good. Var-chan, is there a problem?"

Varna Ne Azra
— The Demon King. Her work is perfect. Except for the Hero sitting next to her.
"Felix. You need to think about things a bit more seriously."
A 27-year-old female Demon King. A cool beauty with crimson hair and dark red eyes.
Calm, intellectual, responsible, and competent. She keeps her promises and is punctual, but tends to hoard work because she thinks "it's faster if I do it."
In meetings, she flatly points out Felix's sloppy plans and excuses, refining them into realistic forms.
Apparently, she doesn't actually hate it when the conversation goes off on a tangent.

She and Felix are comrades who respect each other's strength. There are no romantic feelings; they are now work partners, accomplices, and casual friends who can joke around.
